Free bus for your business event: take the shuttle to InnStyle this autumn
You’re looking for an event venue, you come across InnStyle, and you already know: this is it. The atmosphere by the Maarsseveense Plassen, the spaces, the way everything is taken care of for you — it feels right straight away. Then, often within just a few minutes, comes the practical question you always ask yourself as a professional event manager: how easy is it to get there by public transport?
That’s a fair question, and a particularly important one in autumn and winter. Anyone looking for a free bus for a business event soon discovers that this isn’t something every venue offers as standard. The days get shorter and darker, the weather gets colder, and sometimes it’s simply stormy. A guest who still has some distance to walk or cycle from the station might enjoy the walk in June, but find it disappointing in November. That prospect is why event managers sometimes take InnStyle off their shortlist despite falling in love with it at first sight.
I’m Tanja, business development manager at InnStyle. I see this regularly: event managers arrive full of enthusiasm and raise the public transport question themselves, before we’ve even mentioned it. Sometimes it comes up during the first phone call, sometimes only when the proposal is almost finalised, but the question always comes, and that’s exactly how it should be when taking a professional approach to choosing a venue. I understand the hesitation, because I know the situation in our municipality just as well as you do: getting to InnStyle by car or bike is easy, but public transport here simply isn’t ideal because of the infrastructure in the municipality, and we’d rather be upfront about that than leave you to discover it at the last minute.
In this article, I explain why public transport access to InnStyle is a genuine consideration, and above all, what we’re doing about it this autumn. Because we’re offering a free solution that makes an event by the Maarsseveense Plassen more appealing.

You’ve fallen in love with InnStyle, then comes the question: what about public transport?
I see this scenario throughout the year, but it becomes especially noticeable in autumn. An event manager has seen the venue, is enthusiastic about the spaces and our approach, and wants to move forward with a proposal. That same event manager then checks how guests without a car can get here, often before the first conversation with us even takes place.
''Accessibility is a standard item on every professional event manager’s checklist, and rightly so.''
You don’t want to discover halfway through the planning process that some of your guests will struggle to get to your event on time, or won’t be able to get there at all. Then there’s the weather: in autumn and winter, a journey from the station in the cold, dark or rain is less appealing than in summer. It’s precisely at that point that InnStyle is sometimes removed from the list of potential matches, despite the first impression.
In short: great by car or bike, but public transport in this municipality isn’t ideal
InnStyle is easy to reach by car: we are close to the A2 and the A27, and with 1000 free parking spaces on site, no one needs to hunt for a space. You can also reach the venue by bike, with a scenic final kilometre along the Maarsseveense Plassen.
Public transport is the one aspect we are upfront about: it simply is not ideal in this municipality. There is no longer a regular bus service stopping outside, and while an individual traveller can plan a journey using the on-demand bus that now serves the area, it is not a realistic solution for dozens or hundreds of guests wanting to arrive at the same time. That is why we have offered a separate shuttle service for years, bringing guests travelling by public transport directly to InnStyle.
In autumn and winter, the lack of a regular bus service is felt a little more keenly. Dark, cold, perhaps stormy weather makes an awkward connection from the station a less appealing prospect than on a sunny summer day. No one likes waiting for an on-demand bus when it is stormy outside. So this autumn, we want to take care of that part of the journey for you too, leaving you with nothing to worry about from door to door.
The solution: a free bus for your business event
For this very reason, this autumn we are offering a free bus for business events at InnStyle: the shuttle bus. Your guests arriving by train get off and are taken straight to InnStyle, without having to book an on-demand bus themselves or wonder whether they will arrive on time.
''No extra costs, no extra organising for you as an event manager.''

From Maarssen or Utrecht Overvecht station
The shuttle bus runs directly from Maarssen station or Utrecht Overvecht station to InnStyle, so your guests can reach InnStyle just as easily and without any detours.
How to use the service
There is very little you need to do yourself. When making your enquiry, or through your usual contact at InnStyle, let us know that some of your guests will be travelling by public transport and that you would like to take advantage of this autumn's free shuttle bus offer. We will then agree with you how many guests are coming, which station they will arrive at and at what times.
In practical terms, very little changes for you compared with how we normally arrange this: you tell us what you need, and we organise the bus and the schedule. The difference is that this autumn, you will not receive the bill, because we would like you to experience the bus service for yourself. There is no minimum or maximum number of guests: whether you are coming with a small party or a large group, the shuttle bus is free for everyone this autumn. You can find more information and the full terms and conditions of the offer on our free shuttle bus offer page.
Getting here need not be a dealbreaker this autumn
InnStyle is exceptionally easy to reach by car and bike, but public transport in this municipality is not ideal. This autumn, we are bridging that gap for you with a free shuttle bus from Maarssen or Overvecht station.
That uncertainty about accessibility is exactly why some event managers, despite their initial enthusiasm for InnStyle, end up choosing another venue. It is a valid consideration, especially with the dark and sometimes stormy months ahead of us.
As business development manager at InnStyle, I speak to event managers weighing up exactly this issue every day, and I am happy to help you think things through early in the process, particularly practical points like these, so you do not rule us out unnecessarily over something we can easily resolve for you.
Were you unsure about InnStyle because of access by public transport? Request a proposal this autumn and mention the free shuttle bus offer, and we will arrange a hassle-free journey from Maarssen or Utrecht Overvecht station for your guests travelling by public transport, whether that is ten guests or hundreds. View the full terms and conditions on our offer page, or read more about how we normally make travelling by public transport easy in our article on getting to InnStyle.
This way, you do not have to choose this winter between your favourite venue and the reassurance that all your guests, with or without a car, will arrive on time and dry.
