''A better edition every year''
Four years in a row: Mysolution's customer day at InnStyle
The challenge
How can you use a customer day to inspire your target audience to take action?

The background
One day a year, Mysolution brings all its clients together at InnStyle. The client day is all about informing, inspiring and starting conversations. Clients go home with concrete product updates, insights into the latest AI developments, practical examples from consultants and tips on processes, integrations, legislation and regulations. This keeps users up to date with everything they need from the tool.
Mysolution is a software company that helps temporary staffing, secondment and recruitment agencies make their processes smarter: from recruitment to back-office operations. The client day is their opportunity to show where they are now and where they are heading, and it is the event of the year for the whole team.
Nothing happens on the day without the team knowing about it. Every presentation, every banner, every detail has passed through their own hands. A conscious choice by a company that does not delegate quality, but delivers it itself. And that calls for a premium venue.

A day that works, from start to finish
The day is tightly scheduled, but feels welcoming from the moment customers are greeted outside by a customer success manager who knows them. Lunch awaits inside, followed by a plenary session, breakouts, stands and plenty of time to catch up. Everything is designed to encourage people to connect.
''People want to chat with each other. You make that happen by giving them the space and time. We specifically build this into the programme.''
Mysolution wants to offer content that encourages interaction, rather than just delivering information. The real aim is for customers to talk to each other. To learn from one another, find inspiration and drive home with something tangible.

The venue as a quiet force
InnStyle has now become a natural choice for the customer day. Not a conference centre or a standard set-up, but a place that calls for a special trip, and works precisely because of that.
As soon as you arrive, the entrance speaks for itself. Plenty of light, nature, a peaceful outdoor area by the water. A setting that takes people out of their daily routine and gives them space to see things differently.
The plenary space InnSpiratie is the heart of the day. Mysolution deliberately chooses a 360-degree layout: instead of a theatre-style layout where energy levels can drop, this setting makes people feel involved. That sense of focus creates an open attitude and an interactive atmosphere.
''In a theatre-style layout, energy levels drop. You notice it straight away. In a 360-degree layout, people stay alert.''
That interplay between the space and the programme is no minor detail. It is exactly why Mysolution has been returning to InnStyle for years. Although larger venues offer more room for their customer day to grow, they find less light, less atmosphere and less personality there. InnStyle reflects what Mysolution wants to convey: a personal touch, thoughtful presentation and attention to detail.

Technology that shapes the story
A beautiful venue is half the battle, but the other half is just as important: the technology must support the story rather than get in the way. Mysolution experienced the transition to the new technology partner First Impression first-hand and now knows just how much of a difference it can make. First Impression proactively contributes ideas on the technology and layout, making each event stronger than the last.
An ongoing partnership
The fourth edition: 300 registrations and a score of 8,7
The result is an edition that is more polished and stronger in content than the previous one, because the collaboration deepens each year: more reflection, more thorough preparation and more focused thinking about what the day needs.
With 300 registrations, the fourth edition on 4 juni 2026 was the biggest yet. There were even customers who turned up spontaneously without having registered, which briefly put a strain on registration at reception. Krista van Rijt, who is responsible for organising the event: ''It just goes to show that the customer day is a valued event, that we're doing a good job and that they all want to come.''
Immediately after the event, at 18:30, the feedback email was sent to attendees. The result was an impressive score of 8,7 for the programme, the food and drink and the speakers, compared with 8,2 and 8,3 for previous editions. The question this immediately raised at Mysolution was: how are we going to top this again next year?
A more finely tuned programme

This year, journalist and economist Matthijs Bouman took to the stage. While Mysolution fully embraces AI in its products and work processes, Bouman offered a more nuanced view: trends come and go, and the fear of being left behind is nothing new. That contrast added an extra dimension to the day and sparked many conversations among attendees.
The breakout session on AI in the back office attracted so much interest that people watched from the corridor. Event manager Krista immediately saw this as confirmation that the topic had struck such a chord that Mysolution should do more with it.
How the 360-degree layout works in practice
The choice of an interactive layout in InnSpiratie pays off at every edition. Guests do not all sit in a row watching one person speak. Instead, the aim is to get people talking to each other.
''Why does customer A think that, why does customer B think that, how do you approach it? Above all, talk to each other too.''
The energy builds from the very first session and continues through the breaks, at the stands and over drinks afterwards.

What didn't work, and what will change next year
The photo booth robot, used as an extension of the AI theme, was used less than hoped. Colleagues found their way to it, but it saw less use among customers. Next year, the preference will probably be for a more static booth, so guests can choose when they want to capture a moment.
The fifth edition is already in the diary: on Thursday 27 mei 2027, the aim is once again to fill the entire space with customers.
Proud, exhausted and already thinking about next time
Once the aftermovie has been filmed, the team looks back on the day and thinks: we really pulled it off. Then comes dinner with the whole team, where everyone is enthusiastic but also tired. And that tiredness carries the satisfaction of a day that did exactly what it was meant to do.
The plenary room is now almost at full capacity, so there may come a time when Mysolution outgrows the venue. But for now, there is no doubt about InnStyle. No other venue comes close.

“This is the venue for business events.”
Krista van Rijt, event manager at Mysolution
